Introduction

Final Year Project, also known as FYP is a compulsory project for final year Computer Science students. It is where students consolidate their learning over the past years into one large project that takes a year to complete. The type and complexity of projects is flexible to allow students to work on projects that matches their ability and interest. In this FYP, four students are teamed up to implement a system that acts as a Mall Manager.

About Us

• Yenn Yenn Tan with student ID 4095133, is a Computer Science student major in Software Engineering. In college, she has learned programming languages like C++, PHP, Bash(Unix Shell). C++ is considered as her main language as she uses the most. She has also done some basic database and HTML, UML diagrams, GUI, and Javascript. 

• Matthew Bryan Kong Ik Hui with student ID 4364065, major in Software Engineering and is a Computer Science student. Experience in few programming language which is C++, Java, Bash Shell and Visual Basic. He is a carefree person, like to code, learn new things about hacking and play games whenever he has free time. Designing graphic user interface is said to be his strength as he love to do the graphic user interface design part.

• Zane Chew with student ID 4369385, is a Computer Science Student which major in Software Engineering. In Degree studies, he has learned programming language like Visual Basic, Java, PHP, Shell Programming and etc. C++ considered as his main program language as he uses the most in his study. He also done some basic database, website platform studies, UML diagrams and others.

• Joshua Coughlan, student ID 3872117, is a Computer Science student majoring in Multimedia and Game Development. During studies for this degree, he has learned programming languages including C/C++, C#, Java, Bash, a little bit of Python, HTML, Javascript & PHP. In his spare time, he writes programs to do game-based calculations that are way too hard to do in one's head.
• Aizaz Ashraf, student ID 2459449, is a Computer Science student majoring in Software Engineering. During studies for the degree, he has learned C/C++, Java, Bash, HTML and PHP. He has also done UML diagrams, project management and website maintenance.

This project is required to provide support for many aspects of mall management. It is said that it may be interrelated financial, administrative and physical components. There might be staff details, including salaries, shop rents based on area calculations taken from a physical layout component, and details of advertising campaigns. The application should be to dynamically update a public mall web interface, to include appropriate public information, including links to shop websites.  

This individual describes the progress of each student based of the project. It will be updated as regularly as possible by each students. This diary covers what we have done up until the current time, and will give a more detailed description of what we are progressing on from time to time dedicated solely to our project. We will set out our aims and write a summary based on the work allocated each time.
